Personnel Protection
Due to the variety of applications and different criteria on what is necessary for Personnel Protection, calculations are completed on a "per job" basis to avoid any confusion or unnecessary complications. If you would like to have a calculation completed for your current job, please contact HiTHERM at (205) 961-0009 and the calculation will be performed for you free of charge.
Important: The standard calculations generated by HiTHERM in regards to Personnel Protection are completed with the understanding that the general minimum temperature used to avoid injury within the Mechanical Insulation industry is 140°F. Our calculations use this temperature to determine minimum thickness required for personnel protection. If you would like to use a lower temperature, please let us know when you speak with HiTherm.
